I feel bad for Jennings, no matter how good he plays or throws the football, half of our ignorant fanbase will hate him and compare him to Jefferson because hes an "athletic" QB. Ridiculous.
I don't think he'll be hated just because he's an athletic quarterback. IT'S ALL ABOUT PERFORMANCE. If he can do all the things a quarterback is supposed to do and do them well when the lights come on, that 50% of our "Ignorant Fanbase" wont have a pot to piss in.

Why do you guys not look at who Beckham and Landry were catching the balls on? You can't take anything from the White team's performance be c ause they weren't even given a challenge.

you can really only take two things away after watching the spring game...

1. Spring Games are boring
2. If you're an equipment manager, don't keep John Chavis waiting

There were simply not enough players playing, and the playbook was way too simplified, to take much positive or negative away. With that said, I was pretty pleased with Rivers' mobility and Jennings certainly has all the tools to be successful.

Jennings in 2014 easily! shouldn't even be a controversy unless he struggles this year and we have to put Mett back in.

first the QBs(at least Mett and Rivers) were allowed to call their own plays, Mett did an interview were he talked about it.

I've also posted in one of these thread about the lack of starters on D even able to go. Rasco, Mills, Collins, Martin are four starters which pushed their backups to the white team and the walk ons and 3rd stringers to the purple team. It was really handicapped and showed us nothing other than Jennings looks good against a squad that would at least be on the field during the season, and Rettig needs a little more time adjusting to the college speed.

I think Mett will be good enough to lead us to a final BCS bowl but Rivers will have a fight on his hands for the backup spot and starting position of 2014.
