Auburn will not be good, they're losing all but one offensive lineman. I don't see why Newton stays if he continues playing like this and People will be knocking down Mahlzahns door

So guys don't work out and get better in the offseason?

Aside from Nevis and Sheppard and Peterson and Ridley, I have seen no one get alot better.

If we dont change coaching staffs on the O side of the ball, we will be exactly where we are right now. Except we dont get to start with a depleted UNC next year. So we will be worse record wise next year for certain.

Minter will be OK at MLB. O-line will be better and get bigger. Loss of PP will hurt. Claiborne will take over his special teams, unless one of the Freshman takes over. D-line is the glaring problem. I expect Mingo to be a star, if he gains weight, but we don't have any stars in the middle(as we just saw). We need Brockers to go Fairley over the spring, and we need a couple more guys to step up, or we see power-teams eat us alive. Metts or bust, on O IMO, or we need to develop a Wildcat package with someone like Ware, as a B/U plan.

miles will continue to play the seniors at qb, probably in the same rotation. expect the exact same offense next year. this means we'll be lucky to match this year.

Schedule tougher, UK added over Vandy, West Va on road, Oregon possibly preseason #1 if not defending national champ, Tenn will be better, Florida will be better, etc.

QB - must add Mettenberger
RB - strength, everyone back except Murphy (possible 6th year) plus incoming recruits
FB - everyone back
WR - everyone back except Toliver, depends on QB play and continue development of Randle and Shepard and some newcomers
TE - strength, everyone back
OL - everyone back except Barksdale, healthy Blackwell, Even Washington and Chris Faulk start to get serious pt, incoming studs
DL - all DE's back, minus two starting DT, but look for one DE to move inside and newcomers will be counted on, Freak and possibly Mickey Johnson will play right away, Ego will get reps and where will Copeland play?
LB - will be okay, only loss Sheppard, will Justin Maclin stay at DE or play at LB, it will be time for guys like Minter, Tahj Jones and Barrow to step it up
CB - obviously Peterson will be biggest loss and in return game, but experienced players are already in place
S - everyone back and look for Eric Reid to emerge and Loston will be more improved
Spec Teams - Wing and Botts will battle it out and look for Alleman to handle kicks with unknown walk ons
Coaching - Miles will have to replace Crowton (that's the fall guy and Miles knew it and that's why he kept him on one more year), Chavis is steady and will keep team in games

Nevis is the only DT worth mentioning, Pep has been a disappointment

Pep has been ok, obviously benefitted from double teams on Nevis but he is more servicable there then he was at DE last year

I really find it hard to believe Brockers, Davenport, or Downs would not be more productive.

But they do not seem to be, does not bode real well.
