The SOS ratings on the LSU sports ref site. I’m sure there’s some older schedules that are unfairly favored but it’s still not even top 3 in its decade.

Not sure why you are posting the way you are posting. In 2011 when we played Arky they were #3 in the country and Bama was at 2. The west may have not been loaded that year but were hardly dismal.... and the schedule looks great on paper but was still a tougher schedule I’ve seen LSU play in a long time and none tougher since.....

The SEC West in 2011 went 21-3 in OOC games.
The SEC West in 2011 went 8-4 against the SEC East.
The SEC west in 2011 went 3-0 in bowls that didn't involve only SEC West teams.

The only reason I said not dismal was because of the three teams ranked 1,2,3 the last week of the season. I think that only happened once before, like in 1971 when Neb was 1 OU was 2 and Colorado was three......

Even better the SEC West had the #1, #2, and #5 teams at the end of the season. SEC West also did not lose a bowl game to another conference.
