I have a feeling we Finish 1st in the West. We only lose to Arkansas and we play USC in the National Championship game. Florida will have no offense next year(Yes Brantley is a good QB), but their defense will be young. Alabama's defense will be young. I'm not sweating an ACC team or a big east team.

Between 8-4 and 10-2, depends if Florida remains good without Tebow and if Arkansas continues to improve.

Quick question: Other teams lose players and they get worse.
LSU is losing more players than those teams and they some how get better? LSU will be younger than either of those teams (Florida/Bama) and yet some how we have gotten better than them?

3 or 4 losses. About the same as this year.

I just do not understand this line of thinking. I thought last year our biggest problems were play calling and Oline play. Does a new RB coach or WR coach affect either of those?

I look for our offense to be more of the same next year unfortunately and if we open up with a loss to North Carolina then things get ugly fast. If we beat North Carolina then we could possibly win 10 games.

2010 Predictions for the Tigers
We'll be alright. Richard Murphy will come back better than ever and "carry" this time. Players like Tolliver, Murphy, Sheppard, Jefferson, Peterson will have to step up as leaders. Coaches will need to step up their coaching but all in all, I see this season being a very entertaining one and hopefully a double digit win season.

6-6. I think we have the talent to do much better but I have no faith in Les Miles.

Devine is not going pro; he's returning for his senior year as is one other guy they thought would leave early. That's going to make WVU tougher than some are thinking.

7-5 with losses to 'Bama, UF, UT, WVU, and UNC. Or, pull one of those teams out and substitute Arky or Allbarn.

I'll take 9-3 or 10-2. 10-2 would be pretty damn good.

8-4. I had 7-5, but we'll beat UT now I think. Although Dooley plays us well.

Florida and Bama we lose.

We go 2 - 1 vs. Tenn, WV and NC.

Lose to auburn. Book It.

We go 1-1 to Ark and Ole Miss.

Possible loss to Ark. or other (R. Mallett is a beast) with a shot at the SEC West. Gump will not be as hungry next year and Meyer takes some time off for medical reasons (apparently NOT as willing to die for his recruits as he let on prior to signing day).

JJ has a solid year with occasional flashes of brilliance, the OL is much improved and the RS x-factor frustrates SEC Defenses all year long.

The LSU defense continues improving in their second year under Coach Chevis w/ Kelvin Sheppard projected to go high in the 1st round of the NFL draft.

It's about who we all lose. Florida loses a 3-year All-American, Heisman Trophy winner at QB. We return ours. And Alabama is losing 2-3 All Americans on defense. The quality of their losses is probably greater, even if our quantity is. And anyway, neither were that much better than us anyway when we played. Even the slightest improvement by us gets us pretty even if they just maintain.

I'm not predicting quite yet that we'll be better than either Florida or Bama, but those that do aren't nearly as fricking stupid as you think you just made them look.

Since Crowton and Miles are both back and were last in the SEC in offense with Lafell, Scott, Dickson, Black, KW, and TH - I'll stick with the 7-5 I thought of when I first saw the schedule and looked at who was leaving.
