No disrespect to Bama/Mccarron (as they are without a doubt one of the top programs in the country at the moment, if not the top program)...but a lot of what you say is accurate...Bama has definitely been fortunate the last few years and gotten quite a bit of "luck" with the rematch, scheduling, and OhioSt.
They are benefitting from what we at LSU have seen a lot of in the last 15 years with Saban and Miles. If you have a solid foundation and a great program, when you combine that with a little luck and good fortune then good things (crystal balls) happen.
It takes a lot more than good players and coaches to win a title. As we all know, it takes some good fortune. And Bama has definitely had it the last few years. We at LSU benefitted from the same stuff in 2003 and 2007, so we really have no room to complain (other than maybe with the SEC scheduling practices).

I don't know what more you could ask him to do...so I agree.

The receiving corps should help some...I just hope the O-line gels.
AJ *does* deserve praise for his play. The guy got the green light, and he upheld his end of the bargain.

While we can't argue the fact they beat us, we can argue this was the shittiest thing that could have been done by the BCS voters. They wanted a playoff so bad that they just changed the unwritten law. The motto always was "to get to the national championship you have to win your conference championship". LSU was used as a spring board to get the playoff systen up and running.
If they wanted to be fair, they should have pit A&M against them in the BCS NCG. If they wanted the two best teams in the nation, why not? Hell plenty teams were better than ND.
If Miles had just put those red elephant bastards away last year we wouldn't have to see this GOAT/dynasty shite everyday. I hope we seriously frick over both Bama and TAMU ole school arse whoopin' style.
Bama gonna whoop that arse again this year and then they'll get Fournette and Robinson just to really end it. ya bish

The vast amount of butthurt that the entire state of Louisiana is suffering from post 1/9/12 is troubling, yet brings a smile to my face.
