just got back from game 1....... nice win, a sweep would be huge!
what happened in the bottom of 7th with lead off hitter? they never explained it, was there a no pitch called?

I think it was a substitution violation but I had the volume way down. Something like that though, I think.

Yes, and I think they walked the coach out. I COULD be wrong though. Was switching back and forth to baseball. And watching American Idol. I know, I suck.

Young lined out, then LSU noticed a sub in the field for Alabama, that sub never checked in with the umpire, so therefore the rule is that out doesnt count and she comes back and bats again. The Bama coach was arguing the call of the violation and got thrown out. Then Young ended up walking, and Guillory pinch ran and ended up scoring for the Lady Tiger 3-2 win over NUMBER 2 Alabama!

yes i was there , saw coach got tossed , but no one ever explained the reason young went back to plate..... crazy game for a womens game as it looked like bama plucked one of our girls after she hit a homer earlier in game..... she stared pitcher down and whole bama infeild walked towards pitcher and batter.......

BAMA pinch hit for their catcher. when they went on defense their coach didn't inform the home plate ump the catcher was comming back in. so the young out didn't count and she got to bat again.
