Because the past matters, too.
It is entirely possible to focus on the present while celebrating the past as well. These are not mutually exclusive activities.
Claiming 1908 is our right as a school. Our players proved they were the best in 1908. They deserve recognition from their school.
We don’t need the rest of the world to acknowledge or care about it, either. If they mock it, let them. They don’t matter. This is us taking care of our own. Tigers don’t care about the opinions of sheep.
