This team finishes the next 8 series 15-9. We will be a fringe top 8 seed and Gage Jump solidifies as a Saturday Starter.

I think the lineup works itself out, just a question of whether Hurd starts winning on Sundays and if we can start to get Guidry back on track or find another 2-3 solid pitchers who we can rely on for relief.

Let's just start with not getting swept this weekend, then we can talk about being a top 8 seed

This team doesn't have a starting pitching problem. It needs find bullpen pieces that can hold leads. And an offense that can put games away. I think we have the players to accomplish both of those things easily, but we have to put it together before we dig ourselves too deep.

First they need to win a series and not get run ruled. Baby steps.

If Bingham catches that ball in the 5th, that inning is over. Hurd would have given us 5 solid innings which is what you want from your Sunday starter.

I am with you and think this is really doable. Schedule gets easier in the second half. I expect this team to get on a roll and be tough down the stretch.

I don't see it. I originally said 18-12, now I'm saying 14-16 fighting to even get INTO the tourney.

Meh.... I'm not seeing it. Like I said a mid pack SEC team so I'm going with 15-15, or 14-16. They are not last years team by a long shot.

What? Guidry doesn't need to get back on track. He is one of the pitchers Jay trusts the most and puts him in high leverage situations.

I was on the 19 wins train early on. I'm afraid this team is more in the 13 or 14 win range needing SEC tourney wins for security. If they get to .500 I still think it's a miracle.

How do you completely change the dynamics of this offense with Kling and Neal and Milam in the lineup?

But remember that most years 15-15 still has you in position to host.

If we can finish the next 3 weeks at 6-9, I’ll take that as a win.
