That's why we cannot beat Bama. Until we get a QB who can routinely complete 65% of his passes, the offense will never be complementary and, thus, will never be able to defeat the Tide.

That's because most of the rant is as delusional as it gets.

The 12/26 is not too far off from last year.

Dead on and we still may not have one that can. I still think our best shot is a QB with good arm and better than average feet. Hopefully he is already on Campus.

A quarterback that can throw and run a bit, an offensive line that can block, speedy receivers that can catch, a defensive line that can overpower their opponents on every play, cover corners that are on every potential receiver like gravy on rice, safeties that can move faster than sound, and special teams that perform flawlessly.
That should do it...then we can beat Nick and Bama.

There’s a difference between hope and think.

And a very fine line between hope and delusion.

bullshite! most of the realistic fans like myself knew Danny E. didnt have it in him. I mean at any point in his career here has he carried the team ? Why all of a sudden would he do it against the best team in the country. I think we have the qb currently on the team that will beat bama but Will LSU ever take the training wheels off to get him ready to beat bama?

I am so used to those numbers from our QB'S when we play bama. Sad I know.

That INT gave them excellent field position and was crucial... and let’s not forget he threw a pass straight into the chest of a bama defender on the goal line, should’ve been 2 INTs

Our offensive line finally shows up, numerous occasions Etling had all day to throw and couldn’t do anything with it. “He has no time” people say... well he has time last night and shite the bed

Forget about the stats. The thing that stood out most to me was Etling and Chark had an opportunity to connect on at least 4 deep balls that would have changed the game. They missed all of them.

That's not why we lost. They have playmakers, we don't. Hurts isn't a great QB, but he is a clutch playmaker when it matters.

Statistically he was average at best, but he made two great plays and that's all that mattered because those two plays (and our close but no cigar plays) were the difference in the game.

In games like these, all it takes is one or two plays.

We just need a quarterback who can read pre-snap, manipulate the pocket, and deliver accurate balls. That was the difference in the game last night
