We should never have this bad of an offense. How could you keep your OC with that rating? Our quality of play has steadily declined. We were very lucky to win 9 games. I have supported Miles in the past but I think his luck is starting to run out. There is no excuse for his poor time management. He has done this throughout his LSU career. I think he should apply for the TN job. With his excellent communication skills he would fit right in with the TN nation.

It's been a whole 3 minutes since one of these threads was started, I had completely forgotten our offensive ranking! Thank you!

All I am saying is that with our "great" recruiting classes and Miles claims during the summer that this may be the best O-Line his ever had makes me sick on how poorly we played. Maybe he ment to say the "worst" O-line his has ever had.

It really is puzzling to me how total offensive ranking(in yards) has somehow become the only barometer of a team's success. (Well, that and their last 2 season's conference records combined.) Forgetting that all 120 teams don't play even remotely similar schedules so that automatically skews the stats(does anybody honestly think a team ranked 111 who plays in the Sun Belt had a better offense than LSU?), wouldn't scoring offense be a much more intellectually honest gauge of offensive success? Isn't the object of the game on offense to score points?

Now, I'm not sure what LSU's scoring offense was ranked, but I'm quite sure it's at least a little higher than 112. Regardless, the offense was still horrible and it is imperative that it gets fixed this year or Les is likely out. There is plenty of room for legit criticism. I don't understand the--if not downright lies--complete and utter intellectual dishonesty in selectively taking these peripheral stats and actually trying to present them as more important than wins and losses, or point differential, or even what we can see with our own eyes. Our offense sucked cock this year--I know this. I saw it. I don't need a million retards bombarding me all day every day for the next 8 months with "112! 112! 112!"

He was probably telling the truth based on how our D-line probably didn't get any pressure on the QB or stop the run during the spring and summer practices .

76 for scoring offense, btw.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I guess I'll be more patient and respectful to everyone on this board now.

Ok! Wins and losses are more important but we were very lucky to win 9. Here's a stat for you: 8-8 in last 16 SEC games. How about no wins against FL, AL, or Ole Miss in last two meetings. Or that our SEC rank for total offense - 11th, rush offense - 11th, pass offense - 9th. I don't put a lot into all these stats but offense sucked no matter how you look at it.

Uh, know you got your 16 posts here (which isn't a real problem), but the 8-8 SEC. record and the two...oh, what the frick, those nuggets have been posted more often than the offense's 112th rank, if that's possible. Hopefully, you're kidding here...
