Do I need to buy my 1 year old a ticket to the baseball game this weekend or does she get in for free?

2 and under don’t need a ticket

LINK

This is under the “ticket office location and hours” section

quote:

All persons age 3 and older must present a ticket for admission to Alex Box Stadium. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge. All persons entering the facility are subject to search.

Though it wasn't me, it was justified. You can get to TD you can search Google as well.

All the downvotes are the people who will be sitting around a 1-year-old at a baseball game.

I just don't understand the allure of bringing a baby to a game, unless you have champions club access.

Nobody actually wants to bring their baby. They want to watch a baseball game and they also have a child.

Seems like baseball should take a backseat in this instance, not the child.

Watch the game on TV. There is nothing good that comes out of a 1-year-old being at a baseball game. It makes everyone around the child miserable, the dad can't fully focus on the game, the lights and sounds definitely aren't good for the kid and there's the microscopic chance of a foul ball.

They don’t need a ticket but you’re not going to enjoy the experience. Unless you’re giving the baby to grandma and just plan to booze with grandpa

To each their own. We brought our son to many games when he was a baby and he just slept in my wife’s arms. If anything, she was the one inconvenienced and she did not complain.

Agreed. I have a son who is just about to turn 2. I can't wait to take him to some games, but I don't see doing this until he is 6-7 minimum. If I'm going to the game, it's going to be to watch the game. I can do that on my recliner, while he runs around the house much more comfortably.

Exactly.

The whole point of bringing your kid to a game is to make a memory... for your kid.

A 1 year old potato at a game isn't retaining shite.

And the child didn't ever cry?

Not in our experience.

Again, every situation is different, but it worked for us. Babies sleep a lot, especially if they have a boob to suck on.
