Pretty sure the official score keeper was taking shite during this play. Doughty could have been given an error on the fielding or the throw on that play.

But you not saying anything the multiple times State hit right into the shift are you?
Also, I could have sworn Thompson bobbled a ball hit right to him in the 2nd inning. That wasn’t an error?
