it’s amazing what a good game against Vandy does to people on this board.

100% he comes back next year. But interesting to think about ‘22.

He’s got a long way to go to be a very good college QB. He certainly got noticeably better from game 1 to 2.

So, let’s say playing time works out for him and by the end of this year he’s a bonafide SEC starter heading into next year.

Say he has a really good year. Hell, maybe we win another Ship. But he’s still only maybe a late round draft pick, not all good college QBs are projected high draft picks.

Does he come back for ‘22 if he has a really good year next year. Not like Burrow good but like Mettenberger good in ‘21. Does he come back and destroy shite, given the opportunity and things align as such...

assuming I can translate your Monday night Busch Light drunk post question to "but what does taking every snap have to do with anything?":

in the 4th quarter, the game was well in hand & not in jeopardy of being lost. Vandy + Mizzou are really the only 2 opportunities for back ups to play this season. Meaning, the entire 4th qtr SHOULD have been a perfect time to get the young QBs some SEC experience. But, for whatever reason-O kept MB15 in the game. That leads many, with a non-cheap beer washed brain, to wonder what the plan must be for the rest of 2020 + 2021 + even 2022. Because not many LSU QBs have success with sitting on the bench then starting if/when the more experienced QB does leave, early or otherwise. And with the added year of eligibility due to Covid, the conversation then turns to just how long will the younger QBs stick around as MB15 sticks around.
