LSU record in purple is 47-5 since 2000'. Les Miles never lost in the purple jersey 21-0.

As a kid growing up in the 70’s I was a huge Cowboys fan. They hardly ever wore the blue jerseys because of the “home where’s white” rule back then. On those rare occasions that they wore the blue I was blown away by how cool the blue/silver combo looked.
I kind of like rarely seeing the purples because it makes them jump out that much more when they do where them.

That infuriates me more than some panty-waist kid from the 90’s pearl clutching the Halman years. That ship sailed. I was a Stovall / Arnsparger child. So I like the purple and gold. Sorry.

The standard reasoning for wearing the purple jersey is for all non-conference games except the home opener. Home opener is always white jerseys.

The white is the brand. GPG is too garish and brings back bad football memories from what is the most forgettable era of our FB playing history.
