Congrats to them. If ND goes 0-2 vs BYU and Miami, a win over SMU at home, to me at least, isn't something that tells me they should still be in the playoffs. SMU isn't in that group with BYU and Miami of oponents on ND's schedule to me. SMU would be below .500 in the SEC from what I've seen the 3 times I've seen them play. They could probably beat Vandy and Arkansas. Maybe TAMU too. They've looked bad the 3 times I've seen them, the ACC is trash so they might get to 9-3 anyway because of it. But they aren't anywhere near some playoff caliber team.
