If I Was the SEC President!

I would retire! However, if I were him, I wouldn't be where we are today. We are the 2nd most conference with TV revenue. Why? We have the most TV eyeball!
I would have our own National Poll and forget AP & Coaches from the national rankings who are out numbered 2 to 1 in the overall votes from the SEC! This takes it out the bias hands of the reporters, again. (Remember the BCS?)
The Associated Press rankings continue to challenge the SEC’s competitive standing by highlighting discrepancies in strength of schedule (SOS), as evidenced by the rankings of Notre Dame, Miami, Indiana, and BYU. Even when SEC teams qualify for the playoffs, internal matchups often lead to attrition, compounded by the elevated injury risks associated with a demanding conference schedule.
Furthermore, I have secured a new billion-dollar television agreement. Additionally, I believe the proposal to provide Vanderbilt with funding equivalent to that of the SEC champions aligns with socialist principles. We are not a DEI-driven organization; I advocate for allocating resources based strictly on meritocracy.
As the SEC National Poll demonstrates greater accuracy in predicting winning outcomes, college football fans will likely transition their focus toward the SEC Poll rankings.
I propose that the SEC mandate a more rigorous non-conference scheduling strategy to ensure competitive parity. Specifically, programs such as Miami, Illinois, BYU, and Notre Dame should be required to face high-caliber opponents, including Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, and Georgia, particularly during the early stages of the season.
