The bottom line is that he is a player from Louisiana who wants to play at LSU. I am sure that Ricks is talented, but he seems to be a bit of a mercenary. There are a lot of very talented players in the small towns of Louisiana; BK has to make every effort to identify them.

I hope so but going from FBS jumping up to the SEC and being asked to cover 4 and 5 star SEC talent is a big jump.
He has played against much better talent than high school and I don’t see how this is any different from signing a solid 4 or 5 star high school DB. I hope it works out.
