the pitcher from zachary had family on here saying he was definitely coming to LSU and money was no big deal. Dude ends up signing with the freaking Pirates. I'm not saying his uncle his a liar, but things change when the actual money gets put on the table.
Maybe Lee is different, but we'll see.

I heard he might enroll in January.
Why in God's name would he do that? Give up his SR year in baseball and final semester in high school to get a head start on being 3rd-string QB next fall? Would be terribly stupid, and I don't think there is any chance of it whatsoever.

This thread is getting better with each post. Couldn't make it thru to the end without posting so I may have a follow up or two but a couple things.
First, flask, you know your stuff and we all appreciate the effort and details you provide us about recruiting but Jimbo (for what its worth) said Flynn had NFL talent and and NFL arm so even if adjustments are made for the source its doubtful his arm was "weak". And while lee's arm may be stronger due to his pitching reputation I wouldn't go anointing him the next elway (or even stafford for that matter) as far or arm strength or even potential. He had one one of the best rb's and wr's in Texas with him this year but was completely shut down in the 2nd half of his playoff loss this year. If we get him great and lets hope he matures and develops in 2-3 years to be a quality qb. Until then, personally I want to see as much Shep as possible.
Second, Suntiger, I actually think the snead-lee comparison is a good one...but how exactly are they anything like Mallet (a 6'7" statue with an extremely accurate rocket arm).
