wrong. keeps getting mentioned bc of hope. many posters have clearly stated it's more of a long shot than a surefire thing.

Well that’s not true. People are saying take Gibbs like it’s either or. If Gibbs ain’t coming and we can get Evans, we should take Evans

I wouldn't be surprised if coach o and them are trying to use there time mostly for Monday. After that, they will adjust there board and I wouldn't be surprised if they like a guy that almost all of us haven't heard of.. I say that cuz there's no way they are very confident on Gibbs or Evans, especially since they didn't know Evans situation, I'm sure. Clayton's out for sure too.

I think they would jump all over Evans ,even with his drama

Everybody keeps mentioning Gibbs like it’s a surefire thing. He’s still committed to another school, and there hasn’t been an insane amount of smoke of him actually coming here. I still don’t get why people think we are getting him 100% and we can count on that. Evans will most likely go to A&M, probably give us a 10% chance we take a risk on him. Bradford could be our guy.

Who is mentioning him as surefire? All I keep seeing and saying is that he is the most wanted RB in this class on this recruiting board.

Jimbo is not the type he needs coaching him, Evans needs a family type of coach, one to look after him and keep him in line.

I actually agree with this. Jimbo let anything go at FSU which really destroyed that program not Taggart. Similar with Mack Brown at the end of his career as he let it sink into the players mind that they are big bad Texas and should be respected just for being at Texas.

I'm not saying Evans "needs" LSU, but he does need a place that would bring him guidance onto a better path.
