I was looking at the 2023-2025 Louisiana recruits and I didn't see many top WRs, so I was curious. Where will our recruiting come from in those years? Houston looks stocked full of players, but fighting Texas and A&M is pretty tough these days.

Guys from Louisiana will pop up. You got to remember 24 and 25 guys are only freshmen and sophomores. There's guys that haven't got out there yet that will be big time recruits

I feel like that's the one position we'll never have to worry about. Between having Jets and Chase in the NFL, the transfer portal and Hankton now at the helm, he'll figure it out.
For one option, if we reel in Colin Simmons and some of the other guys from Duncanville, it opens up the door for Dakorien Moore

I know they are high on the kid from Shadow Creek that’s in the 2025 class

How many guys in Louisiana who went to schools that are NOT Zachary, West Monroe, Catholic schools in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
Answer, plenty talent at skilled positions in Louisiana has never been a concern for me. The concern is keeping them in state in the past. OL is always a concern. For instance Cam Robinson was a must have and he left the state. When those guys show up they are must gets because of the lack of in state premiere OLmen they are few and far between.

I’m sure there will be some transfer options as well… Some Louisiana guys that did pick the good guys initially come to mind when thinking of future transfers ??

Keep an ear open for Aaron Jackson, a sophomore or junior from Ruston. Played for Neville then moved to Ruston. I know my name gives me away that I’m a Ruston guy, but he’s got speed and been playing great.

Even during the Miles era of run run incomplete pass punt, LSU never hurt for receivers. Not too worried about that position
