He's obviously athletic with that leaping ability. Some NBA team just needs to grab and develop him. Anything beyond defense is just gravy. With his wingspan and jumping ability, that apex must be 12 feet. You don't even have to teach that.

In just his fifth game, he contributed 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 blocks, recording the third triple-double in program history and setting the program single-game blocks record. On December 4, he recorded 17 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks in a 85–80 victory over in-state rivals Eastern Kentucky. On December 11, he recorded 16 points, nine rebounds and six blocks in a 71–48 victory over Ole Miss at the Holiday Hoopsgiving in Atlanta. On December 18, he had 14 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in their 82–72 win over Louisville – the Hilltoppers' first win over the Cardinals since 2008. In their next game against Kentucky, he recorded eight points, six rebounds and seven blocks in the first half before exiting the game with an ankle sprain.

This kid has visions of NIL, and I don't blame him.

Why does a player like this not go a major college basketball school to begin with? No disrespect to WKU. Never could understand how that happens, and it happens a lot.

Because he wasn't even rated as a high school recruit and was a three star out of John Logan College. Height and length are solid attributes, but if you're just lost out there, those two don't do too much

Mitchell Robinson almost went to WKU but he got homesick and dipped. Now he’s 4 years in the NBA and looking for a good free agent deal this offseason

They got a fanbase there as the third best basketball school in Kentucky historically

Charles Bassey has been on campus there as long as Todd Harris has been at LSU...

Saw this guy play after the LSU game in Atlanta - holiday Hoopsgiving. Having a dude that big almost seems like cheating but it was fun to watch him not playing against my team.

He is freakishly athletic for his size. If he would put on 50lbs or more…he would be a lottery pick.
