You take as many high caliber QB’s as you can. Brennan didn’t transfer knowing he would be probably be sitting for 2 years as a sophomore/junior.

You do realize the other QB in his class left after 1 year right? Lowell clearly wasn’t SEC ready hints why he’s at UTSA now. And this is my point, 2 QBs in the same class aren’t going to stay once the other one wins the job.

You’re implying it’s a smart play to take ONE QB and have a roster that’s ONE injury away from then having ONE scholly QB healthy? We should take at minimum 2 and hopefully 3.

2020 Season after Burrow leaves you would have RS junior Brennan, RS Freshman Parrish, and the true Freshmen that you signed. You would have THREE healthy QBs not ONE. THREE scholarship QBs would be plenty and you’re season would most likely be shite out of luck if you’re starting the THIRD string QB in a season anyway.

Transfers can weed themselves out but it doesn’t take much historical data to see LSU needs QB depth if they’re going to compete for a national title.

Signing 1 QB a recruiting class is the best way to build depth at QB. Can’t skip a class ever and signing 2 in one class doesn’t make sense to me unless you’re going into a season with just 1 QB on scholarship which Isn’t the case at LSU for the 2020 season as of right now.

King looks to have similar size as Brennan. Just saying.

I really don’t see what’s the hype about King, his film looks average and measurables average.... I don’t get it.

I'm with you. They said he jumped almost 300 spots so I went to look at his film and it's just okay. He's definitely a dual threat, but I don't see the "accuracy" like people are claiming. Brennan had that same "accuracy", and couldn't beat out Burrow in a competition he had the upper hand in, and didn't look much better than McMillian in the spring game.

Really like that he can run, but I don't know if I want to lose the two we got for him.

DJ is a take over everybody though.

I don't think LSU will keep Finley and Johnson if King Commits, one will decommit.

I’m failing to see the problem here.

I hate signing more than 1 QB in a class because it's a waste of a scholarship... They just transfer away

sign the best 2 or 3 you can get and let the cream rise to the top. Good chance the rest will transfer. QB is the most important position, so even if a couple schollys get burned they really weren't wasted. You just can't say for sure when evaluating high school players whose skill set will translate the best to college and who will develop the most and be the best 2 years down the road. I would be very happy to see Finley, Johnson, and King all sign. Even better if Ugailegeia, Finley, and King all sign. Most likely won't happen but it wouldn't be a bad thing either.
