sumlin enjoyed success on the back of entrance to sec and johnny football. he will be face down in reality now. texas will not dominate recruiting but the ut brand will sell and impact aTm.

Just a question.. Have you paid attention to their recruiting classes? They had a lot to replace this year and a shite show of dramatics via JFF.

I really don't get how people keep selling aTm short.

If Ole Miss can beat us on occasion, and Arky be a battle to the last minute more often than not.. aTm will be a close series in the future!

Speedy enrolled at A&M yesterday, as did brown at Bama. It's over time to move on, no flip.

you sure sound like one. Aggie? That's such a big 12 phrase as they all call each other singular. I'm not sure I've heard any SEC folks do that. Anyway, I'm sure Texas will do fine but your comments here seem to be more wishful thinking than grounded in reality.

soooo, ur saying atm woulda won more than 6 games a year the past 2 years without jff?

u think your gonna replace the best player in the history of your program and win with a subpar defense?

i bet you believe all the hype and recruiting success will continue when aggie goes 6-6 in 2014.

we all know that texas kids wanna grow up and play for aggie...

good luck with all that and your silly arse cult on the brazos. thanks for opening up the tv markets in texas.

p.s. i dont like the horns either, no one does so little with so much and if yall were playing again i would pull for you, but im just being realistic about atm.

Texas recruiting will hurt Baylor (wow, who would've ever thought that could be a thought), OSU, and Oklahoma more than it will aTm.

The Aggies have the brand to back it. Kids want to play in the SEC. They'll continue to recruit on par with LSU and Bama.

you really aren't though. I mean, we went 6-6 in 2011 and fired our coach. He had recruited good, not great classes and Sumlin took that talent and has gone 20-6 over 2 years. The last two classes blow anything Sherman recruited out of the water. I'm not the one that isn't being realistic

agree to disagree, but good luck to you next year. just for the record, i wouldnt come on an aggie board and say the same things, it would be very impolite.

Man, this is 95% of LSU and Bama's fan base right now. It's as if their understanding of what lies ahead for y'all is strictly from ESPN.

I have 1 friend that's an Aggie fan, I don't ever want to lose to aTm as he has the biggest ego of anyone I know. But I have been paying attention to the classes and they're no joke.

Eta: for frick sakes, they're stealing the best athlete in the country from Nola!!

Lets be real here, yes Sumlin went 20-6 but it was with JFF. One of the greatest college QB's of our lifetime and the best ever to play for A&M. To think that the team wont take a step backwards with he and a 1st round receiver leaving is just plain silly. (similar to LSU fans thinking our team wouldnt drop off after 11 juniors left last year). JFF carried this team for two years, and that defense was a LOT to carry.

Sumlin at this point is still an unkown commodity imo.

Allen with Nacho, Speedy, and Seals-Jones.. To go along with an always dominant OL.

Myles Garrett is going to be the equivalent of Clowney

They lost a lot on defense like we did, we just had the depth to turn it around by seasons end. They're establishing that depth one class at a time.

I'm honestly not sure how I've been impolite. I'm stating an opinion. But if you feel I have been so, sorry to have offended you

Yeap people didnt expect us to step back after losing our heisman finalist. Diff is LSU has recruited at a much higher clip for a longer period so we can still win 10 games without our best player, Aggies should be shooting for 8 wins as a good season.

I'm sure he took into consideration that JM was most likely leaving. I think he just likes their play style better.

Do people really ask this question seriously, or are you fricking with us? Speedy is NOT flipping. Anyone with any sense at all knew Johnny was gone after this year. That is not why Speedy chose A&M
