We have to have some connections in Wisconsin?

I would try to recruit those big corn fed eaten , whole milk drinking white boys from Wisconsin.

If this is the power offense that we will run from now on at least get some big bodies that can push down a house.

I’m on it. Hopping on a plane as we speak. I will ask if they eat corn and drink milk. If they say yes, I’ll offer them on the spot.

No but I agree....we gotta get those big northern baws

How many of Alabama's offensive linemen are from Wisconsin? Gotta be all of them.

Been saying for years LSU should use whatever connections Aranda may have to recruit linemen there

He's got more connections on W Coast (and HI) than he does the midwest.

Besides, do y'all really want to go even more extreme to the road grader big corn fed tackles? If we could... we're already there.

How about taking some big nimble TEs with long frame and putting some mass on them first and converting THEM to OTs instead of the 345 lb flat footed OGs.

I actually live in Wisconsin....The LSU Flag fly's year around except nasty Winter days in January and February...Wisconsin has some good young HS talent in the OG and OC positions...In fact Ben Bredesen the starting left guard a Junior at Michigan lives a sub division from where I live...If O needs some help in recruiting in Wisconsin or names send me a text....In addition my friend Chris Herro is the Father of Tyler Herro and I have known Tyler since 6 years old...He is starting SG at Kentucky a freshmen in Basketball...Get nothing but positives with LSU...Good Education as well for Grad School..

I actually looked at their past 4-5 recruiting classes wondering how they get so many NFL guys on the line and part of it is because of the amount of lineman they take. Also, it seems like all of them are 6’7 260 coming out of HS. Some were TE’s in high school as well

The center is from Iowa. Piersbacher?
I never understood why Studwara was assigned North Louisiana. He should have been sent to the Midwest, where he’s familiar, to recruit OL.

As mentioned here, quite a few of those Wisconsin OL were 2-3* TEs in high school. Fan base would lose it if LSU signed 3 of those per year.
And Wisconsin has a much better S&C guy that LSU has in its worthless fossil.

Truth. Wisconsin/Iowa takes the 2-3 star guys that we don't want and coaches them up. Their player development is off the charts.

Wait a second...how are they so good, then? Not a single guy from Wisconsin and only one from the Midwest? Can your offensive line coach walk on water? He's gotta be some sort of miracle worker to take 3 kids from the south and one from soft-arse California and turn them into a dominant line.

The Alabama OL is very talented. Williams and Piersbacher will get drafted very high and be middling in the NFL with more stringent PED testing or in the case of Alabama, any PED testing.
But forget the names and hometowns of the Alabama OL, the most important name on any list of Alabama linemen is Scott Cochran S/C Coordinator. The joke that he's a Moffitt guy is irrelevant. Moffitt hasn't worked or evolved in 15 years.

Yeah, and Nebraska, too. Have you seen how good their O-line always is? Oh, wait.
