I read the same. He loved his visit here & it's down to a battle between LSU & family.

In all the time I've followed that guy, I've never heard anything about it being a battle between LSU and family. In fact, I've heard his mother is from Louisiana.

yea, me too. I fell better if they are from the coast; it seems more of those don't mind leaving. maybe living upstate is not that great unless you're from there.

You got a link? I just checked 247 Sports and can't find anything about that.

It's on 24/7's latest "Tiger Rap: Inside LSU's Finish" under LBs.

It didn't mention if his parents visited w/ him.

Have more to say.

Willie's madre may pray he not move away from Mississippay, but Bebe may parlay his play for Gay into a "Yay!" on signing day. Don't be led astray by hearsay.

Downvotes be damned! I thought that this was beautiful!!

But I'm a little thrown off like that.

I'm not really too worried by his Mom, because his Mom grew up in Louisiana. Also Gay told Patrick Queen and others that it was between LSU and Michigan, and I believe Michigan was full up until today, when I read this morning they had a DE uncommit yesterday

There are a lot of Nola transplants on the coast, a lot of people don't want to raise their family in Nola, but want to stay close to family. I was born in Gretna, we moved to Bay St. Louis when I was 3, and I'm back in LA as an adult. Also, take Bay St. Louis for example... It's 2 hours from BR, 4 from Starkville, 6 from Oxford. The coast was a really awesome place to grow up pre-Katrina, but it's getting back there now...

I've tried telling everyone on this board to watch this kid's commitment. Now, do I think he's ours to lose right now? Yes. But I'm never comfortable until their loi comes in if they're from Mississippi.

But, would you say it's easy, or hard, to pull a kid from Mississippi?

We get it. You say it year after year, and you are nearly always right.
