Wondering if the change at MSU will trigger a late flip? 247 still has him CB 100% Tigers

Does he even have the grades? I could be thinking of someone else.

I think he would flip, if he had an LSU offer. Offer list now includes BAMA, UGA, TCU and a few more but nothing from the Tigers.

Watched him play in the MS 5A South State Championship last week and would like to see him in Purple and Gold.

You're thinking of the right kid, was a grade risk, might still be. With his offer list getting bigger I think his grades might be coming around.

Then again he could end up doing a year in the Mississippi JUCO system.

it seems as his grades are not good enough. He wants to play at LSU.

Pretty sure we moved on from him because he was a major grade risk.

Has always seemed to be less about "would he flip to LSU" and more about "would LSU be interested in trying to flip him".

LSU needs to stay away from kids like this completely IMO. Unless you go to see him and see that he has totally flipped his situation around. Like from failing to As and Bs. It happens from time to time.

If a guy just doesn't have the motivation to try until he does and then competition turns it around. But if you see the guy go from failing to just passing, I'm staying away, more times than not it's going to turn out for the best for LSU.

I’m just chiming in because a year or two from now when he is killing it at MSU or elsewhere, I want to be on record as loving his game . Of all the kids we have been on, imho he is the most SEC ready. IMHO, he’s seriously underrated . I never even watched his senior film since we seemingly weren’t in on him. And I’m not knocking anybody we are recruiting or who has committed. I just think this kid can be a really great rb.

Totally get the grade thing..not as if we don't have a few other kids who have just cleared the academic standard..but don't want to be left with only one RB..never know who may change their mind as new coaches get hired....might get crazy... Geaux Tigers!

Go read my post about Fabien I still think he goes to the good guys. Heard from nephew who goes to school with him. If Cain commits that may through it off otherwise I think he signs.

Ahhh, the Eddie Lacy approach... How’d that work out for LSU?

We didn't miss him, Lsu had great backs at that time. We missed on some QBs though.

Like I said more times than not, it will work out for LSU. For every name you mention, I could mention 3 that didn't pan out. Stay away from the kids who aren't motivated to be great. I would prefer a kid who runs a 4.6 and is humble, smart, and motivated to be great over a kid who runs a 4.4 and is lazy, immature, and doesn't care any day of the week.
