Did anyone actually read the accounts of what went down? Underwoods people go the NIL offer from LSU and said everything looked good. LSU was expecting them to accept the offer and were caught off guard by the news of the flip. They could not counter before that because they did not know they had to.

Could they now? Probably. Will they? My guess is no. There is no way LSU can outbid Oracle money plus a campus within driving distance for his family.

He would have to be uncommitted in order to use us for leverage? I think the opposite. QBs commit early. Michigan knowing he's already committed probably just helped pour more gasoline on the NIL machine.

I think they (the Underwoods) played their cards beautifully. Whether or not someone believes he was actually going to go to LSU doesn't really matter (FWIW I don't think he was ever coming).

I think it's more than likely they (the Underwoods) knew Michigan would back up the Brinks truck eventually and sure enough they did. Just sucks LSU was on this side of it.

It’s actually just his gf, not his wife. That’s what made it even crazier

It wouldn't have mattered. Michigan wasn't going to let him walk way.

You would give your personal money to a high school kid who has never taken a snap in college yet?

I don’t care what star he is or the hype around him. Plenty of 5* recruits never pan out. FOH with that bullshite

I don’t think it came down to money, actually. I think he was becoming conflicted over leaving home, and ultimately chose to stay in Michigan.

We are not paying a high school kid 12 mil no matter what you think of him, LSU will be okay as long as the Defense gets back to what we are accustomed to having in years past....We have won championships with less at QB but now we have money that we can distribute out to other top talent to bring in who and what we need. Bryce is suppose to be good we will see in 3years if he made a good decision to stay home with the bag or should he have went to his first choice and got developed?
