Why take Liggins?

Stop the bleeding.

Morris Claiborne was a 3 star.

how does a 3-star, at a position where we are deep, stop the bleeding.

He looks like a scholarship placeholder.

Why waste it?

There is no way we should take another project QB at this point. The only way we should take his commitment is if he comes in as a defensive lineman tweener.

Les is just trying to save face with the Gunner Kiel fail. Maybe he thinks Liggins can be his Tebow.

What kind of QB gets moved to the d line?

if liggin gets down to 250ish his speed or quickness should improve & I think he is a little underrated as a passer I like him as a qb I jus dnt think he would get a legit chance 2 play

After 2008, we've brought in:

Shepard - now a WR
Garrett - released after 1 year
Lee - Got paid
Rivers - Extremely raw prospect
Mett? - We'll see
Randall - supposedly inaccurate

This has entirely everything to do with a poor job by the coaches and planning very poorly for things. It's one thing to continually miss on QBs, but it's another to mess up this badly if Kiel doesn't come in.

All the more reason to have at least 1 QB per class. There is no telling what will happen to the QB we get for the next class and I am going to assume the odd man out of Randall/Rivers will transfer eventually.
