Love Fournette, but he liked the attention also. Otherwise he would have committed to LSU much earlier. He was not nearly as bad as these other kids though.

Seriously.

He didn't commit early = he loved the attention? He may have loved the attention, he may not have IDK, but to say he loved the attention BECAUSE he didn't commit early, is retarded dude.

This in a nutshell. And it's not just kids like the OP doesn't seem to grasp.

Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Periscope, etc.

People of all ages want to be seen and heard and a many of them are trying to be the next big thing that comes from some form of social media.

Why do top players want more attention? by tigbit

I'm not sure top players necessarily want more attention. But since they are top players they are obviously going to get more attention.

This is something you can't control. But you can control who you give your attention to. So, I would ask why you give so much of your attention to football recruiting?

I guess because it is a part of LSU football and as a fan I know it affects future teams. Just as I follow the draft for the Saints. I don't follow "recruiting" , I follow LSU sports, and if LSU did not have sports, I would not even know recruiting was happening elsewhere.

they could announce their top 100, 99 days from NSD and each day have a press conference to announce one school who was dropped from the list!

now you've done it. when some kid does this, we will have to name the process after you. the kid is "tigbitting".

the guys are egos. they are prompted to do it. its part of it now.
they are just playing into it.

According to LF, his family, and coaches, he absolutely hated the recruiting process and the media attention.

bullshite. If that was the case, and you "love" a school, you commit and shut down stupid visits and help your university by letting linemen, qbs, know they will be playing with the best.

I love LF as a Tiger, and all other great recruits. But I will always have a loss of respect towards them IF they lived LSU all along and strung it out.

Gimme a break on the free this and free that bs.......If you love your university and hate media attention, SHUt it down or shut up about "hating it"
