We gonna have to move Paris Shand and Savion Jones to DT at least on passing downs. They both weigh about 280 I think.

Passing downs? I don't expect much passing going on against this defense. You have to be able to stop the run first. Teams are going gash up the middle and force to commit more to the box. Then it's bombs away. I'm starting to have flash backs of last year.

Perhaps they add:
Adin Huntington from ULM. Ranked #22 on the On3 DL portal list. 28 solos + 8.5 sacks in '23.
Terrell Allen from Tenn St. Ranked #13. 43 solos + 13.5 sacks in '23.
Give them the best D-line coaching in America and set them loose with our current guys.

That has to be career stats right? That’s a lot of sacks for a DT in one season regardless of competition

The RBprofessionals seem to think we are fine at DT all of a sudden.

I double checked and believe it or not those stats (43 solo + 13.5 sacks) are last years totals.

They are both Defensive Tackles.
Allen (6'0" 275lbs) was FCS 1st team All-American. Led nation in sacks and with 28 tfl + 5 forced fumbles.

My Alma mater. He is a huge fan favorite! He had about a 5 game stretch where teams had no answer for him; and we were actually pretty deep on the defensive line. Brandon Fisher (Jeff's son) and Clyde Simmons (Philadelphia Eagles legend) are the DC and DL coach respectively, so he's been well-coached. Obviously the key will be whether he can stand up to a SEC running attack for 3 downs; but I would not bet against him.
We played Notre Dame the 1st game, so you can see him matched up some with 2nd rounder Blake Fisher.
