We are obviously gunning for several. I listed our top guys (in no particular order) both inside and outside LB. Wich ones are we most likely to land?
Thomas Johnston
Levi Jones
Chris Allen
Nick Smith
Jacob Phillips
Tyler Taylor
Will Ignont
Willie Gay
K'Lavon Chaisson

I think we only take Chaission. Unless we can get a flip from Ignont.

Need to get someone or anything at this point. TO good ones in Baton Rouge and they go to Bama. Can't win SEC west like that

Would like Taylor, Johnston and Chaisson. 2 of the 3. Don't know much about the others

Honestly doesn't look good for any of them now. Unless something changes drastically with some official visits we strike out with these guys.

another name for the list of possibilities is Ellis Brooks. uncommitted guy from Virginia that played in the Under Armour game. some rumors on another site that there is growing mutual interest.

Looking like Gay is a growing possibility. Hopefully Phillips along with him. I feel good about Chassion as well

There seems to be interest from uncommitted guys and a couple of flip possibilities. The kid from FL who's committed to NCSU seems to be a possibility, as well.

Just let it play out. If we can get these guys in for visits, I like our chances for O and Aranda to close a deal. We have chances for PT to offer in a scheme that showcases LBs. The film from this year sells itself. Sombody's going to take that bait.

I think Gay and Chaisson are most likely. With a slim shot Phillips.

This is so stupid. Idc where they are from...if they don't want to be at LSU, then they don't want to be there.

If LSU lands Jacobs or Gay, I bet you won't have a problem with the fact that LSU took OOS prospects from "flagships."

None. LBers hate LSU and everything it stands for. We're one of the premiere programs in the country, known for great defense, they don't care. We have one of the best defensive minds in the country who can turn a 3 star into an All Star, they can't be bothered. We having a significant need at the position and the opportunity for immediate playing time is there, they yawn. We send a lot of LBers to the league, crickets.

We either need to reevaluate our approach to recruiting the position and change the sales pitch or we need to allocate more, um, resources to the position. It seems like we use all our resources on 6'4" WRs and DBs.
