A signing class of 10-5* and 15-3* recruits,or 20-4* and 5-3*.

The hit rate on 5 stars is like 70%.
The hit rate on 4 stars is like 50%.
The hit rate on 3 stars is like 20%.
So option A gives you 12 hits with and option B gives you 11, on average.
And by and large 5 stars are typical 5 stars because they're incredibly high ceiling guys. So a quantitative evaluation gives option A slight advantage, but a qualitative evaluation gives option A a huge advantage.

Since we're signing somewhere in the 30s, give me a good mixture of both, but all of them WANT to be at LSU.
