Nothing - but, would have been detrimental if we would have lost.

A win and top 10 finish will never hurt

Looking forward to a strong finish to this 2019 class

Hopefully get incoming OL & DBs excited about possible immediate playing time

I swear it's like Coach O held out players on purpose to send a message to recruits.

-Opportunity for 2019 DL guys
-WRs playing Corner, need some DBs
-Passing game(check) Pickens?, 2020 QBs
-LSU will still run the ball, another 1,000 yd rusher

The dlinemen played very well. Shelvin did an excellent job taking up space and collapsing the pocket. Lawrence was dominant.

Lawrence was a beast today. Maybe a little too good.

Ha! Let’s hope he stays one more year and becomes a top 10 draft pick!

Yep. Great game by both. Shelvin stepped up big today. Did his job as NG and ate up blockers.

He barely made it to the 3rd quarter. They had the ball for 15 minutes the entire game.

Played great though

Agree, his conditioning has a lot to be desired.

So true! This “win” did absolutely nothing for recruits. 40-32, to a non power 5, does not look good.

I disagree. If anything, it probably meant a lot to recruits. Those kids who are interested in LSU just saw an LSU team with a decimated roster, beat a UCF team that hasn’t been beat in 2 years.

Yezzir!! Lol I had a minor case of oh shite's when lsu missed the sack by Lawrence and I think divinity and the qb some how got away and shelvin started chasing him lol

A lot actually.

2nd string defense got to play and showed up.

Not much to wonder about for sopsher. He's the recruit that matters. He sees who he will.play with.

Normally I would agree, but there were a lot of young guys getting a shot to play on the big stage in that game. That doesn’t hurt when you have rotation playing time to sell in a lot of areas.
