What's up with the Clemson 5 star pass rusher

A story I read says he was committed to unc because he was just now offered by Clemson.
I swear Clemson thinks they can just get all of the 5 stars,or whoever they want.
Is this story true? Y'all hear about this? I believe he was a very highly touted 5 star pass rusher.
Why wait till a few days before esd to offer a guy that they really wanted probably. Just the way they offered was strange.
Is this some strategy I don't know about with crootin the croots? Lol
Did we offer him? I bet we could have locked him down if he would have committed to us before Clemsons offer.
Unc just didn't have the clout to keep him from Clemson.

Yeah that's him, why in the hell would they let him commit to unc without offering him. I understand if he was really young but he's 2020.

Anybody have an idea as to WTF took them so long. His tape is crazy. And he runs 4.6 ,can and did play running back in high school.

He was ab Auburn commit that decommitted and was heavily leaning to UNC. Gree up a Clemson fan and was never shy that if they offered he'd go there. They figured out they were losing Flowe so they brought Simpson in , offered and he committed. Not really an out of the realm thing. Just the Clemson staff reading things correctly and punching when/if necessary. Just happens to be a 5 star.
According to some we have guys on the back burner in much the same way. We will see.
