All of this is spot on. They actually won the tournament in Oregon against some pretty good teams. Beat St Mary’s out of Arizona who had a Duke commit. Hudson played great all week.
Don’t believe all the Nebraska rumors about money and jobs for family.

He’s the #16 recruit in basketball. He might be better at basketball. I assume it vital for him he plays both in college and he should.

He’s certainly better than Green was at bball.

He’s great at basketball. But his game doesn’t work in the NBA at 6’7”. He needs to grow if he plans to play in the NBA. This isn’t about if he can play college basketball. I have no doubt that he can. But he has NFL talent right. He better grow 2” - 4” to play in the NBA with his game.
He can be a great college basketball player, a good college football/basketball player, or an All-American college football player. He has a much higher ceiling in football.
Love the kid and wish him all the success. If he wants to play both that’s his call. I’m just telling you from what I see every week, regardless of what his ranking is.

Just watched him in a hoops tournament in Oregon. Kid is a beast! Hope he’s a Tiger!

Video of Nebraska QB commit Trae Taylor and WR commit Tay Ellis talking w/ Hudson

If hes hellbent on playing both sports and Lane isn't keen on it, let him go to Nebraska. Fact is, unless hes the rare one(possible) like a Julius Peppers who can be wildly successful at one, mildly at the other(he was a strong BB player), hes gonna have to choose at some point. Go get him then if hes worth it and chooses football. No sense paying top dollar for a guy at a non top dollar position for him to languish away trying to double up early on. Let someone else pay that initial, expensive deal.
