What’s the updated thoughts of the recruiting board of who ends up in this class?

Just curious how y’all think the class ends up. Hopefully we pull the LA guys we are targeting. Seems like we have lost some steam lately.

It's a week by week thing right now

Impossible to really answer when we are 50/50 on the coaching staff even being here come December

Exactly.
I can maybe a guess if O would to be retained, but at this point, nobody has a fricking clue with what's gonna happen, so trying to guess who ends up in this class would be a waste of time.

How much you think this class takes a hit if we lose the coaching staff. I think it’s strong enough instate talent that want to play for LSU regardless that you may not lose most of those already committed and still may land some instate that aren’t committed. But I can see for sure that they would lose some of the top instate talent if that were to happen. Wiggins, Shazz, and Mathews I have like 50/50 right now. If we lose the coaching staff I’d have them more 30/70 leaving.

No way to know right now. If LSU can right the ship and have a strong season, I can see them finishing really well. If things go south, we’ll inevitably lose guys.

I agree, this team isn’t as bad as everyone thought after the UCLA loss. It’s got talent all around. Switching O line coaches in June really screwed us. Why you think we ran zone runs against the Bruins? That’s all the line new how to block for. They are learning as the season goes on. The defense seems to be getting better, but still an occasional busted play. We will see what happens Sat morning. I hope they can put it together this season.

After 2019 the Tigers lost most of their players and coaches. Some of the new hire coaches were a bust despite their resumes and that's on Coach O. The team was not adequately prepared for UCLA this year and that's also on Coach O. The 2020 recruiting class seems to have been an outstanding one despite the 2020 troubles. LSU has had the ability to finish strong the last 20 years, or so, even in 2020. I would think that there will be no major coaching changes this year unless they leave for a promotion elsewhere and that LSU will finish strong again. Bottom line, another solid recruiting class by an outstanding recruiter. Go Tigers.

He promised 2/4 of the group from Texas. Stewart, Abor, Perkins, and Harris. I’d love to hear his stance now.

I would like him to update that entire post he made about predictions.

I beg to differ for 2002, 2008, 2009, & 2014. I couldn’t say we finished strong in any of those years.

Probably sucks since we will only when 6-6 or 7-5.
