rankings with 247 rankings? Why are some 3 stars on one and 4 stars on another?

I believe that one represents 247 ratings alone, the other is a composite of all the major sites.

247 is just that recruiting services ranking of a player. The 247 composite is more objective and is the average between not only 247 but the other 3 services- ESPN (PMSNBC with footballs) Scout and Rivals. So it's more objective

Not sure I'd say taking an average of subjective opinions makes it objective. It just lessens the effect of subjective outliers.

It seems like people use the composite more than the 247 ranking but I dont know why. 247 is known as the best recruiting service by far so I use their ranking. Not a composite of a bunch of shitty recruiting services.

As others stated
One is their rankings and another is a composite of multiple recruiting rankings which is awesome as well
