Just wanted to change it up and see if anyone thinks Coaching staff can flip anyone.

My 2 picks

Charleston Collins -Arkansas
Gabriel Reliford- Aggies

I think Arkansas has bad record and he might look around. I know we was recruiting him hard at one point.

Gabriel we just need to get him on campus for OV during the fall. He is the most likely out of the 2 for me.

Who do you have?

Reliford seems most likely. Hopefully we can fill out this class with some solid d linemen. I’m starting to get worried about that group’s numbers between last class and this class. Hitting the portal hard every year is not sustainable.

Those are the first 2 that come to mind for me.

+ either Blake Ivy or flip Weston Davis.

Everyone is going to pile on the Danny Okoye bandwagon if Simmons goes Texas, but I don't think that's happening.

And if Dom goes elsewhere, then 1) look out for melt city and 2) the staff is going to be looking for another DT on top of maybe Collins (but I'm not smart enough to know who).

Hopefully Reliford will end up signing with LSU. Collins would also be great, and Rivals had an article out about him not being locked in to Arkansas. They named Ohio State as a likely destination.

Weston Davis is probably one we will stay in touch with until ESD. I don’t think it’s as urgent with him, being that we already have 2 tackles committed. Casey Poe is unlikely and I don’t know if we’ve ever flipped someone from Bama.

Mascoll and Ziren Brown are candidates, if Brown is a take. It will also depend on Blake Ivey.

Cam Coleman and Dre’lon Miller could be possibilities, and I’d love to see us pull more guys from ATM.

No matter what happens, I really just want us to sign McKinley and Reliford. We need DTs.

If we lose Simmons, Dom, and Mack to Texas I’m gonna have very heavy Karl Havoc vibes going on.

I don’t even wanna be around anymore

My thoughts exactly.

That would be a brutal hit to LSU’s perception from the public if Texas takes the top 2 from our state as well as Simmons.

Not the end of the world, but definitely a bad look.

I just don't get it. As a recruit why in the frick would you go to Texas over LSU? Texas and other big time programs are pulling in the big fish and we can't finish the deal on our big fish. The bagman needs to be fired at LSU if we lose all three of them to Texas.

It’s money man.

Texas, A&M, are trying to buy relevance again with fat stacks of cash.

Let’s see if that model works.

Texas may be in the same boat with the Aggies as far as the IRS is concerned.

Curious about the Texas collective and how it possibly correlates with A&M’s.

Something about Texas paying players thru NIL for appearing at charity (tax exempt) functions.

Apparently A&M has been the most egregious in this approach, but Texas is guilty of it as well, albeit to a lesser extent.

I'm sure they will still pay them under table. I bet someone will be watching them they better be careful.

A UT collective very publicly announced that each of their O-linemen gets $50k/year for showing up at a charity. They're not exactly subtle...

Love the IRS approach these days too... NIL and Venmo transactions. That'll really show those tax cheats
