What makes some believe 2019 will be a great class if we can't even finish right now?

Isn't it alarming that we can't close with some guys who were at the top of the wishing list and sure gets for a while? Will O and staff be able to finish all of a sudden next year? I don't see it.

How can this awful recruiting performance genuinely make some say that next year is the year. I fully expect Aggy, Bama, and UGA to raid the state next year and we will be in this exact same position.

The amount of negative recruiting that can be done and has been done on us is astonishing. Red flags have been revealed for a long while dating back to the Pete Jenkins hiring.

Out of state kids are always a wild card. The amount of people that considered Surtain a sure thing is laughable. People acting like he had committed to us or something?

In state kids are easier to sway. 2019 is loaded with in state kids.

2019 will be a great class for sure, just for Saban and Jimbo and probably Herman.

Every year its the same ones here saying "next year is our year" and come signing day it is no where near expectations. Every year there is those 5 star kids who will "no doubt" be tigers but just enjoying the process and then turn a cold shoulder to lsu on signing day. Face it....LSU is not an elite program right now and wont be for the foreseeable future.

We certainly haven't had the best sway on elite in state kids recently either.

This was a down year in Louisiana for talent. Fewest highly rated La recruits since 2011. LSU's bread and butter is Louisiana. Foster, Surtain, Goodrich are out of staters.
Louisiana is loaded in 2019. That will be the measuring stick for Orgeron recruiting. If he is bust next year in keeping Louisiana talent home it will be devastating to him and the program.

Raymond had been on this kid since the 9th grade and still couldn’t hold him. I find it hard to believe that 2019 is going to be that miracle class everyone thinks it will.

Should be a pretty good haul after Saban picks the ones he wants.
