Calm down.

For the record, Vol said the staff still felt good about him because he was saying all the right things. I’m not sure how that can be believable. This kid seemed to be as genuine as anyone LSU has recruited. He never played games, so it’s hard to believe that he didn’t at least inform the coaches that he was sticking with SC, soon after his last visit to LSU.

Just when you think recruiting can't get any weirder, we had to witness that.

I'm calm. Just tired of hearing him and people acting like they're in the know when they're obviously not. It's a waste of time. That's all.

Ive always felt your posts were optimistic, but it does seem that you have been wrong quite a bit, lately. If our staff is as optimistic as you are, and they don't have a real feel for where these kids are committing, then that is a scary thought. I believe your source is playing you...

He announced in December.

He's just passing along the optimism the coaches are saying. The coaches want to believe, so they say positive things and people around them here it.

Man you are gullible. I just don't think he knows anything. That's my opinion. Sorry.

Unless his "source" is a coach which I highly doubt, then his "source" would be able to pick up from the coaches that the confidence level just isn't there. Vol comes here with that bullshite vague optimism for every potential commitment. There's no real substance to any of it. Vol I apologized to you last week but now im thinking you are Hunt Palmer's boyfriend

Jordan Burch declined an interview request after the ceremony. When asked if he could confirm if he had signed an LOI, his mother stepped in and said, "No sir, we're not doing any interviews." So, stay tuned.
Would you bet the house on it

Some kids just don't like to give a flat out no. They don't want to disappoint anyone.
I'm sure Coach O has had similar situations in the past where he got the commitment after not knowing where he stood.

You may be right, but I just think the coaches may be getting fed positive shite from some of the recruits, so the coaches remain optimistic. Thus, this optimism is passed along.

Tell you no, everyone tells us no

It's not just kids. I'm in physician recruiting and there's doctors that will make every excuse in the book of why they can't, but they never will say the words "no". They put up obstacles to the point that the hospital has to pull the offer and say no to them, but they just always leave a little hope and never say no.
