He will be a freshman and will be on the bench, unless LSU wants a
losing season.
losing season.

And I agree but if you watched the spring game he looked comfortable for being 17yrs old.

You don't have to put up crazy numbers to get in the top 2 rounds. We've seen this time after time with NFL GMs. They will reach for an average QB (Rosen, Trubisky, JJ McCarthy, Maye, Mac & Daniel Jones, Kenny Pickett, etc. )
This is Nussmeier money year. He's losing the entire offensive line (except Chester) . Lacy and CJ Daniels are seniors. Hilton can play his was into 3rd-4th rd if he can stay healthy and be consistent.

I’m not saying he can’t become a high end draft pick after this season, but a lot of NFL franchises are wary of one year starters from college. More reps and time on task with live bullets are much more valuable to them. That’s the main reason I believe Nuss will come back. The OL will be strong again in 2025 due to the way Brad Davis has recruited and we’ll always have receivers.

If Nuss has a good year, he will go pro. He’s the prototypical NFL QB, with measurables that NFL coaches love. Combine that with the weakest QB draft class in a while and he’s probably second round at worst as long as he doesn’t regress.

13 Heisman's and 7 Natty's.

I expect him to throw it over a mountain!

I love Nuss, but this is just false. He’s 6’1 at best and around 200 lbs. That’s hardly prototypical NFL size. He’s in the Baker Mayfield/Brock Purdy range.
