es vs Florida and 148 yards and 2 TDs on 28 carries vs Vandy. Those 2 have averaged 154 yards the past 2 games, which would put us at 76th.
Except you’d have to add back other teams sack yardage to even know that. You can’t ignore ours and not ignore theirs.
Improved running game? A bit. Anywhere near mediocre? Not really.
Mubunga or whatever his name is had improved but only in the way a complete liability becomes just a liability. It’s concerning he was so far away from ready to begin with but was our next guy. He needs a ton of work on his feet to become serviceable as a starter.

Hasn’t Paul Mubenga been improving a lot? He might be the starter at LG next year.
He’s improving, but he was brought in as a pretty raw guy out of HS who needed more time that he’s gotten to develop. If Adams hadn’t been injured, he would be out there starting in that spot.
I think the staff has to go get a couple of experienced IOL and let everyone fight it out for those 5 spots. We need depth that is dependable and trusting freshmen and raw sophomores isn’t a good situation when injuries occur.

Chester is a better fit at Guard at his height. If he’s not snapping and worrying about calling protections, he can just focus on blocking. He’s only a redshirt freshman, so there’s room for him to get stronger and improve his technique.
THIS. You bring in an experienced C to anchor the line and slide Chester to OG to maul people. Based on Emery Jones decision, add a starting OT. Fill in the rest of the OL with the talented young guys on the roster.
