It’s still only game two and the coaches are still learning about their team. Aranda thought coming into this season that he would be able to get pressure with only 4. I think Saturday night he learned he can’t and will need to start blitzing more. When they blitzed they got to the qb.
Also let’s not act like Texas doesn’t have a good o line and that Ellinger isn’t a good qb. He was able to escape a couple sacks as well.

I don't think the def. talent is as good as we thought it was. I saw little to no pressure on the QB. The D looked pretty average.

whoever the fool that posted we were looking for another DC is s disgrace as a poster , & should be banned due to idiotness . I think Aranda is easily one of the top 10 DC'a in college football. Surely any FB fan can understand containing "mobile" or "dual threat" QB's . I thought our defensive plan was good , & the win was one of our top victories in a long time.

I mean is our D line the only one held in college football? I think it is pretty common to play through it and make plays.

If we can't scheme and make defensive play calls to free up Chaisson something is wrong. We have a quality D line and are stacked at LB with a talented defensive backfield.

If the plan was good, the execution was not. Or, maybe it was not such a good plan. How many yards did they get? How many points? I don't know how you can say this was a good plan because it did not work. We won because our offense went bonkers. The defense for the most part let us down.
