No. We need SEC refs to stop holding their flags when DL and Chaisson are being blatantly HELD all night.

Def was held all night, but we need more of this type of talent.
Other than Delpit or another S blitzing, we just cannot seem to get the pressure needed...

Queen is good on the blitz. We hardly blitzed last night but when we did we got to Ehlinger. The team actually had 5 sacks, could’ve been more. Also Marcell Brooks should get some PT moving forward.

The coaching can’t seem to find a compliment to him on the other side.
They’ve tried 3 other players, and all have had ho-hum results. I agree we need another DE @ his caliber

Many times when rushing 4 it was more about containing and affecting than all out sacking.

Key was good but did have some issues limiting his playing time. We could say the same thing about many players at many positions. The caveat of having a fast pace offense scoring alot of points is the defense stays on the field more. Texas has a great offense and their team is loaded with talented players and a very good coach. This is a very good Texas team I am not surprised they played so well. Their first two drives we stuffed inside the 5 yard line and if {big if} this an entire different game.
Texas fans are saying to themselves that they are better and should have won.

Not having Ika hurt on the DL late in the game. On top of that, everyone knows that we have been thin on the DL. This years class looks to be finally taking care of that extreme need.
We will need another monster DL haul next year as well.

Hopefully Desmond Little puts on some muscle and turns into player the coaches are hoping. He has all the measurables Key did.

Wouldn’t hurt to have a coordinator that could dial up some exotic blitzes and pressure the QB. We’d need to make a heavy financial investment but I think it’d be worth it.

Probably why the staff is so keen on recruiting guys like Phillip Webb despite tight numbers. Can never have enough pass rushers and I'm not sure who steps up after Chaisson is out
