Again I say at the end of the day it's that young lady's absolute right to chose. She's chose SU. You guys are arguing about something you can't even control. Use this forum in the right manner please. I love both universities and support them. Now,I'm a SU alum with a son and 2 daughters graduating from SU. So there's a pride of the Jags but I'm a huge LSU fan. Let's go TIGERS.

Yeah, this thread devolved quickly. I am not a big Southern fan, but I absolutely pull for them. It's not like they compete directly against LSU in many sports. I hope they win the SWAC in every sport every year and I think most Southern fans feel the same way about LSU (aside from the contrarians who pull for Bama to be controversial).

Fargas has not been held to a standard by Aleva

Change out Aleva and Fargas is gone with the wind of bad gases, she is simply not motivated and IMHO very lazy.
As for all the stories of "excellent bench coaching," it is greatly exaggerated. She came in with a stafF YOU WOULD THINK WOULD OUTRECRUIT MULKEY, Tennessee Biker and others who own Fargas in recruiting, and we have gotten damaged-good-transfers and attrition of recruits point to bad character. Fargas recruiting, HOPE HER SUPPORTERS LIKE IT.
Geno Auriemma came into the PMAC and handled Fargas' Krewe of transfers and poor talent with impunity.
After TOTALLY HUMILIATING our once-proud-program, he commented: I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BUT THIS PROGRAM IS A SHELL OF WHAT IT HAS ONCE BEEN, referring to the Gunter-Pokey-Starkey Days. Auriemma said what he said and WAS ACTUALLY BEING KIND.

This doesn't really exist anymore. I agree it's her choice, but playing in the SWAC isn't the SEC.
I LOVE BEN JOBE! I believe he is one of the all time greats of his generation. I have zero problem with someone choosing to go to Southern. None. What I found interesting is Caldwell-Fargas, needs local kids to commit to her program, like Pokey did. She can't even hold on to one that is choosing Southern - for what?? Not academics nor competition.
