We knew Philips was ours.
Supposedly Les, told Patterson he could replace randle right away.

You do know not all of them have left yet rt? Also these pay sites might know stuff but they strategically wait to write shite so their info is spread out.

Patterson is the must get IMO to close out here. With Randle gone we don't have a go to big WR. OBJ is very good but only 5'11 on good day. We need someone to start opposite of OBJ and Patterson fits the mold perfectly and could be a big time target for Mettenberger. Shepard just isn't reliable and should remain in the slot.

Just another tid it is patterson is being recruited by miles, his host this weekend was mett. Patterson said he will decide either day dau before nsd or on nsd.

True --- and at times I would not put it past Les, or any other coach to have a firm verbal committment from a top recruit but both agree to stay on the down low and let it be a NSD "surprise" to get some national attention.
None of the kids that visited and are not committed are sure things for LSU --- but I believe we are legitimately in the picture for all of the big names being thrown around.
Edwards is a long shot... but I think a maybe. we have a better shot at Patterson and we'll have to wait and see what shakes out with the others we are still recruiting.
