reality is this: most bring home about a millions dollars in a career, they overspend on houses, cars and lifestyle, they sign with crap agents and have hanger ons. When the career is over in 4 stellar years they have too much debt and are in bad financial shape. IF they have a degree they have a shot. There are a shite ton more broke ex NFL players than their are Shaquille Oneals.

Not to disagree with OP because I think getting a college degree is one of the most important things athletes can do. The thing though is that every 4 or 5 star high school player thinks he's the next Adrian Peterson and that those stats don't apply to them.

Doesn't matter for shite. You can add in there 15% chance of getting processed by saban if u go to bama. Every three star and above thinks he is an nfl lock now. You can't change their minds with stupid facts and statistics. Their family and agent say they are the best ever.

Its not as bad as you think. Reid and minter already graduated. So you have EEs and red shirts. They have been here ling enough to get a degree. Not everyone who left LSU before eligibility ran out, left before getting a degree.
