There is indeed a lot of good info in this thread. I’ll tell you for a fact, with the caveat that things change and it’s a very fluid situation, that we may or may not land this prospect. Now, I did speak to a family member days ago who told me that LSU is in a good spot and I know the coaches feel good about where we stand.

If what he’s saying to those around him is true, we are in good shape. We will see how it plays out.

Van Pran's highlights are real impressive. I had not seen them before until this morning. This kid bullies dudes around on the field.

This kid plays the game angry, he is blasting people 20 yds down the field on running plays.

On every play in his film he plants every dude he blocks in the dirt. I hope we can get him, we badly need that mentality on this team at every single position.

Teams need to start being afraid to play us, especially those bitches at bama.

Agreed. That’s what I love about Burns. He’s got that fight in him

I have to think getting his teammate Ashaad Johnson will help with Van Pran.

The vibe around him is he is dead set on out of state

I think Van Pran is the biggest must get of this whole class. From Louisiana at a position of need. We HAVE to get him and I think it’s a realistic expectation

You spelled jaquelin roy wrong.

I’d say Van Pran is more important. But it’s probably fair to say either.

I disagree. We have a ton of quality interior olinrman. We need tackles and warm bodies on the Dline.

If we lose a stud dlineman that goes to school on LSUs campus that’s a crippling loss.

Not as bad as it would have been 3 or 4 years ago. with the way Orgeron and staff are recruiting nationally replacing a Roy will be easier than when LSU was focused on Louisiana. What will be more crippling than losing Roy is LSU losing to bama again or not getting into the CFP. If LSU loses to bama and barely misses on the CFP I think O will have one more recruiting class of preaching that LSU needs better players to beat bama and get into the CFP. 2021 will be the last year O can use the jimmy's and the joe's as an excuse for losing to bama and/or not getting into the CFP.

We neen all of them to step-up and pledge to the Tigers.

That would be a great haul. If we lose 1 then O needs to replace him by going out-of-state.

We’ve signed 6 dlineman in 3 years.3 in the past 2.

Lol no the frick it isn’t. So you think he should get 6 fricking years before the team is his? The team is his now. There isn’t a talent excuse. I can’t tell you one thing for sure. He better not get shutout again this year to Bama.

SAO incoming. We need this guy to stay in the home and keep sporting the p&g after high school and come to LSU.

I remember when people said this about Jamar Chase, Malachi Dupre, and John Emery.

Focus moving forward on Louisiana prospects: Roy, Lee, Guillory, Jenkins, Van Pran, Clayton. Outside Louisiana to supplement OL tackle positions.

I always like our chances with a New Orleans kid we put the full court press on.
