Robert Woods just committed to USC. Was only a matter of time, as most have considered him a strong Trojan lean for over a year.
He is the #1 receiver on my board. Tall enough, and has the rare combination of having long limbs and being very explosive in his acceleration and top end speed.

Powell: UF
This is a tough one. I think he really favors UF, but I wonder if his family can afford sending him across country. Even though he is a scholar-athlete, you still have to pay for things out-of-pocket (plane tickets, certain living expenses, etc.) as a family

maybe they can get someone to give his parents a house ala Reggie Bush.

When it was USC and Texas in the Rose bowl, that is the highest rated bcs bowl game ever.

that makes sense because any other year the south and southwestern parts of the country don't watch.

Then why is the Rose bowl always the highest rated bowl game of the non mnc bowl?

I would think even a harmless flamer like yourself could figure out the Pac 10 and Big 10 regions have more population than the other regions of the US other than the east coast.
The east coast follows the Big 10 as they have no good teams of their own to follow.

Southern College football fans I know watch ALL the BCS bowls, including the Rose Bowl (and sometimes ESPECIALLY the Rose Bowl as they love to root against USC if we are in it).

You don't know college football fans if you believe otherwise.

is it just me or are they lower than normal? don't hear as much about them as i generally do. wondering if the ncaa look-see into the reggie bush thing is making them "lie low

Pete has told recruits he does not want them to commit until 100% sure won't visit elsewhere. 5 star today.

For those of you who do not think USC will land Kyle Prater here is a recent quote from Kenny Stills.

quote:

"By the time they offered, I was involved with a lot of other schools," Stills said. "USC was still my top choice but I had already told a few schools I would take a visit there in the fall. My plan all along was to take my trips and then commit to USC and I even told them that.

"Then this week after Robert Woods committed, I talked to the coaches and they said they didn't have room for me. They're supposed to be getting Kyle Prater and they just wanted to take two receivers in this class. They told me they have enough guys at my position and were going in a different direction.

Known for a while.

Certain people here just don't get it.

This WR class we are assembling is unreal.
