Stats are great, but he's just a stud. You eval. his size, feet, and production;all together, and you figure that he will get a 5star rating. Meaning=A sure NFL prospect.

What camp performances are we talking about?

I want to see this guy get timed at a rivals or scout combine this summer.

As far as top 25 in the nation. You can forget about it. Jarvis Landry, La'el collins, Anthony Johnson, and possibly Jermuaria Rasco are gonna be ranked ahead of Hilliard. If you think any recruiting site is gonna put 4 or 5 LA guys in the top 25 in the nation, you are nuts.

I would be interested in thier take on him. Like I said, I wanna see his 40 time at a real combine. He just looks sluggish to me.

They had a good write up on him a few months back. I looked for it for you, but either my comp hates ESPn.com or ESPN.com totally sucks. Takes forever to navigate around.

Dont mean to be a negatiger, but his highlight videos are not very good. He looks to run about 4.7, and doesnt really punish anyone trying to tackle him, he breaks a few tackles, but isint as bruising as scott was last season. Hes big though. Looks like more like a FB to me. Anyone else watch them?

I wasn't sold either based on film.

But I caught him on TV a month ago against St. James, and I liked what I saw. He's more of a slasher type than straight ahead like Scott. I think he is a little more agile than Scott, and he runs behind his pads pretty well. He's a more natural runner than I first thought.

So while I still don't think he's a 5*, I do think he can be put in the top 100 at this point.

haha no lie, when we played comeaux in the forth quarter we had some linebacker issues and coach put him in. he was litteraly in for 8 plays and made 8 tackles and 3 were behind the line. not to mention he hurt their starting quarterback on one of those plays. but after all of this he will still play running back at the next level.

He won't be a top 25 player, but he will be top 50 nationally.

Everyone gonna be singing his praises when he plays for LSU. Quit being negative, some of those films were from sophomore year. The kid can't be older than 16yrs old now.

Hilliard.

Great Player

Landry's stats confirm what i kind of thought. he yards per catch is not that high for a 5 star caliber player. he is going to be more a possession and 1st down maker at LSU

He's averaged 16.2 yards per reception.. and scores roughly 20% of the time he catches the ball.

if you avg. 16 per catch in high school, that no. will be 10 - 15 at college. not bashing Landry I think he is outstanding (top 4 in a loaded state) but he does not appear to be a big yardage receiver or a 5 star.
